Back out of the thread to where you can see the name of the thread and the number of replies on the right side of the screen. In this case 1,528 replies. Click on the number of replies and a box will open with the stats.

Fantastic win, I'm not thrilled about playing OSU but I'm hoping that Ga.Tech at least gives them a real hard time tomorrow so OSU comes in beat up and tired for next weeks game. I think we have something special with this team and to make the sweet 16 is absolutely great but I think this team is destined for greater things, GO BIG ORANGE!!!!

Due to a serioius family issue, I was only able to watch the first half of our game, any way to catch the second half via streaming, or another channel? Thanks.

Alright everybody I have to bring this up. I have posted this same comment over the past few weeks and I have been blasted. This is about Stephen Pearl's minutes. Although, we played a great game, especially defensively, I have to bring this up.

I have posted before how I think we lose the minutes that Stephen Pearl is in the game, so today I took a piece of paper and pen and took the following during today's game:

Stephen Pearl played 15 minutes today. When Stephen Pearl was in the game we lost those minutes by -7 points, but Pearl was not in the game we were +22 for those minutes.

I know everyone is going to blast me and keep telling me how he is a "defensive specialist", but the facts are this... when Stephen Pearl is not in the game we are much better team.

I still think Ohio State and Kentucky are 2 most talented teams in country. I think beating Ohio State would be tougher than if they would have had to play Kansas.


On top of that, Michigan State is still alive. Tom Izzo is just ridiculously good with his teams in the tourney. Kansas may be gone, but this bracket is still loaded.

UT uses their own software to calculate the +/- of every aspect of every game. Where theirs differs is every single second of the game is looked at and ever countable stat is recorded. They look at comb stats, etc. Like, when Steven was in and maybe we fell back so many points, who else was or wasn't in the game and everything that surrounds those moments. And, they use the +/- stats as guidelines in assessing every aspect of the game and the opportunities for improvements.

Aw man, they switched away from a 10 point game with 8 min left to show the last minute of a game going down the wire...THE HUMANITY!!!
I'm a Tennessee fan, but I'm a basketball fan too, and I want to see the big finishes.

Besides, all the games are streamed online, so you can always watch it on a computer when they switch. That's what I did anyway.

Tough game for OHIO, but Tennessee played OHIO exactly how you have to. Trap Bassett, contain threes, and feed Chism. Great game plan and execution.

Still had a fun year cheerin for my Bobcats, especially the win over GTown. Next year is gonna be great.

Hopefully the Vols can keep this up!
