We had the base runners to easily win the game; lack of hits with runners in scoring position coupled with double plays killed our chances.

Vol66 what were your expectations for tis series?

I was concerned with it being the first road trip for a young team but I expected one win and one close game which we got last night and were a couple of hits away from a big win.

I expected it to be close. I thought winning the first game would be tough. We got 6 hits and 1 run, they got 7 and 3, that's just how it goes sometimes.

I think we will be better tonight.
