If Serrano had stayed with Cox, Vols win in 9. It's not like Lee has been money all year. He has struggled in the closer's role and Cox was dealing with a very sharp slider tonight.

not the way it's normally done, but i'll take it.

real shame for a lot of reasons.

i wish i could have seen the game because shore normally does not struggle like that. i don't know if the tennessee hitters were really making him work or if he just had an off night. but, tennessee had guys on base all night long.

florida used more pitchers than normal on a game 1. interesting how that will play out. depending on scores around the league, they don't have anything else to really play for.

hope y'all get to hoover. i still think the math makes it almost a lock

Cox not coming out for the 9th cost us the game. I know he's probably starting game 2 or 3 of the series, but if you're willing to pitch him in the 8th, then why not the 9th?

So, you use Cox in game 1 and still lose and you've got to depend on him moving forward in the series.
