Whitwell names New Head Coach

Whitwell High School has named Daniel Tierney as its new Head Coach, Tierney comes to the Tigers from Seminole, FL where he has been an assistant coach at Osceola High School for the past four years.

Cleveland now has a Head Coach, but now Soddy-Daisy is looking!

It has been announced that E.K. Slaughter has left the Soddy-Dasiy Trojans to take the Head Coaching position for the Cleveland Blue Raiders.

That now leaves the Soddy-Daisy program looking for a head coach.

Soddy-Daisy has officially named Kevin Orr as Head Coach he had been the interim head coach since E.K. Slaughter left to take the HC job at Cleveland HS.

McMinn Central is now looking for a head coach as Brandon Derrick turned in his resignation Thursday at High School. Derrick has been at Central for three years turning two consecutive 9-2 seasons the past two years, including the Region 3-3A championship in 2007. Derrick is expected to be named co-offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Glynn Academy on St. Simon’s Island in Georgia.
