‘23 LSU transfer OT Zalance Heard (Tennessee)

Does anyone have a tl;dr version of this thread? I can't keep track
Staff can’t close.
Staff can open again?
Maybe staff can close…
Wow, looks like staff closed!
Closing…
Closing…
[Sigh] CLOSING…
Did staff really close?
Ok, staff closing next week (maybe).

As bad as we need a quality OT, they should have kept recruiting Percy Lewis. Once he committed to Auburn we lost any leverage we may have had in negotiations.

If this was really done, than it would be done. I can’t be the only one who is starting to get a bad feeling that something isn’t right.
You're right, man. We should all bury our heads in the ground and wait on the sky to fall.

Good summary. But you have to drag your butt across it like a dog with worms and then it’s the perfect synopsis.

Get a grip. We recruited Percy Lewis right up until the time that he visited Auburn first and committed to them.

Have you read the rest of the thread? It’s a high possibility he didn’t announce because of a tragedy in his home town than he didn’t want to take attention away from
Does anyone know if he actual said he was delaying his announcement for this reason? Or, is this what we are telling ourselves so we don’t freak out…

He isn’t a high school kid who needs to coordinate a big signing ceremony. Most transfers what, make a social media post with a graphic or maybe a short video? The argument could be made that him not announcing could even be a bigger distraction.

He has never had an announcement scheduled so how could he delay it? Everyone saying that he’s announcing at a certain time have just been speculating.

AP and others called it done. No other school appears to be in it. An announcement doesn't change the reality, it just makes fans happy.

Until he enrolls and starts class it could always change, but there is nothing to suggest that it isn't already a done deal.

No worries, if you are wrong and he suits up as a VOL, you will only have the requisite 1 year loss of posting privileges. No big deal.
