That's only if FSU fires him. If he quits and goes elsewhere he has to pay the salaries of all of his assistants according to his contract. I've seen $5 to $7 million numbers on that.

The 11 coaches I listed, in my opinion, are more legit and hireable than John Gruden...if for no other reason John Gruden has never coached college football, nor has he given any indication he wants to coach college football.

The way I've read it is that it's $40m if FSU fires him. The amount to buy him out at a new school is only in the $7m ballpark
