A huge disappointment. I really thought that this team had a legitimate shot at the elusive NC. That shows just how much I know about softball...

Bottom line: our inexperience & youth showed up...As far as pitching is concerned, I'm glad that more help is on the way for next year...

I will be really surprised if UT doesn't make a real run at winning a NC in next 2-3 years with all that talent stacked up...

They used rpi rankings and our out of conference schedule isnt what UGAs is because they can play GTech during the week while UT plays MTSU and ETSU. But that doesnt really explain loading the bracket with two other top 25 RPI teams while UGA plays an invitational tournament. They need to use more then RPI , theres no way UGA is a 6 seed and UT 14th.

Very true. It's just odd that when NCAA seeds for basketball it seems to go pretty much with the rankings, but softball is a different animal I guess.
