Yes we need that girl to transfer just a freshman looks like she is going to be quite a power hitter for them.

She's pinch hit a few times but never been DH. She does have a good eye but I'm guessing she doesn't hit with power.

These girls represent UT better than the Basketball girls do....

It's a good team. Very young - 4 freshman and 4 sophomores in the top 11 - but talented. Seggern will be an All-American. It would be nice if they had another pitcher but that will have to wait until next season.

Nice win. Bats look better. If Gregg Seggern can keep that bat we may be on to something. I liked Batts also

Karen said in the post game interview that they worked on being more aggressive at bat after the Arkansas series. She said they were too timid.

An interesting stat is that when TN scores first they are undefeated. Young teams have to learn how to come from behind.

Arnold loses poise when she gets in trouble .When the team scores 1st a lot of pressure seems to be eased on both pitchers and they seem to perform much looser and better.....course that applies to most human beings but it appears to especially be the case here .

Any chance they move Sunday's game to Saturday? Sunday looks like a wash out right now. Could do a 1PM Sat, then a 6PM Sat. The Sunday game is not a televised game, so moving it should be no problem, right? And they can keep their 6PM SEC Network game.

It was nice to see Seggern and Vines drive the ball to the outfield. Our hitting against Arky was weak--one extra base hit in three games is dire--and we'll face better pitching than theirs in weeks to come.

Well we got them out in the first after two walks and a weak hit. A good start for Friday.

This OM pitcher is someone we should wait on and drive the ball somewhere. Only Leach seemed to have a clue. Gregg took a walk. Geer should have hit it harder but wth.
