Kim Anderson out at Mizzou

On the Paul Finebaum show just now, they are talking to Dave Matter of the St. Louis Post Dispatch about the Missouri job and Tom Crean of Indiana is a name being mentioned.

That doesn't seem realistic. They should give Chris Collins a look.

Josh Richardson: 2015 1st team All-SEC, SEC All-Defensive team, and Defensive All-American

Armani Moore: 2016 Honorable Mention All-SEC

Robert Hubbs: 2017 2nd team All-SEC

Those are 3 of the 4 guys remaining when he left. Stokes went pro, guys transferred, and Tyndall either ran off or didn't pursue the committed recruits. Zo didn't leave the cupboard bare of talent. I may not agree with the method in which he bolted, but he left behind some key pieces.

Yeah but all the recruits that left were well above average and we would have been worse.... at least punter could ball.

Just responding to the notion that Cuonzo left nothing behind. He didn't leave much quantity, but he left some really good quality.

Cuonzo is in a good place. They really don't care that much about sports in Berkley. They know their place should be below UCLA, Arizona, Oregon and probably a few other PAC12 teams. He couldn't handle the pressure in Knoxville. He doesn't have that in that area.

I don't think that Cuonzo is a bad coach. He was just inexperienced enough while at TN. If he had embraced the job, he could have built a solid program at UT. But man his teams were boring and so was he. Bad timing. Had he been older, he would have been a good fit at UT if he had followed Devoe or O'Neill or Green or Tyndall.
You might want to ask Sunny Dykes about this. Two things they care about out there are sun and...hmm...well...

Not really.... JRICH was a stud, Armani probably wouldn't have started for any decent/good team in the SEC..... Hubbs took to his senior year to come close to reaching his potential.... the cupboard was very bare and Zo would have been fired soon if he stayed.

I think if Zo had stayed, we'd have experienced similar resukts we got with Tyndall and Barnes, so yeah, he'd have been fired. The NCAA run probably bought him two more years, but he'd have been fired after last season.

I guess we'll just agree to disagree that having a future 1st team All-SEC, 2nd team All-SEC, and an honorable mention All-SEC player returning was a good thing.

Some indication that perhaps Lorenzo Romar (U of Washington) could be heading to Mizzou. This is according to PowerMizzou.

CCM is 62-39 in three years at California and if he takes the Missouri job, would it be likely that he stays longer than three years there?

Doubtful, unless they can't see thru him in that time. He'll look to move on after 3 mediocre seasons and reset his clock elsewhere. Vagrant coach, a la Kevin O'Neill.
