Face it folks that article was nothing more then shock value writing to sell more papers and to quiet the Tuscaloosa Trailer Park. Satan will allow greed to consume him and he will be gone in the next 2 years and the trailer park will be back up in arms and pointing their finger at us.

That article is a perfect example of higher learning.... Bammer style. What an embarassing reporting job. Notice how many quotes....very notably attributed to nobody. Who were they supposedly quoting??
oops...posted without reading the whole thread. Many of ya'll were already mentioning the quotes from nowhere.

"Scared" is probably not the right word, but you certainly wouldn't hear all this bellyaching if the Kiffin regime didn't worry them some. I remember a whole lot of sneering on our part about Urban Meyer back in the day, after all.

That Bama article was BS. The writer couldn't even attribute the trashy quote about Kiffin to anyone. It was pure drivel.

Follow the link it gives and you can see it's from a USC alum/radio host Petros Popodopolous or something like that

There is actually a book out on "Radical Leaders". Radical can be defined as- anything out of the norm, as in change. The book is titled Rules for Radicals, by Saul Alinsky. This book describes how to deal with change, uphevel, and "newness".
Here is rule #13-
"Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, polarize it."
"Cut off the support network from the target. Isolate the target from any sympathy whatsoever. Go after people and not institutions. People hurt faster than institutions."
It seems clear thats whats going on. If you really spend a moment of your time, and know that journalist/politicians are taught this books principles, as ways to "rabble rouse". Then we can easily see whats going on. I know a bit heavy for the board :)

I liked it. I would like to see more of it. Deep analytical thought when it comes to football matters, that is.

the hatred of CLK extends all the way out here to Missouri as well. Even the parking lot at the mall has printed in large letters "FIRE LANE"
he must have an asst coach name Hose, because the signs inside want him fired too (just not sure they spelled Jose correctly). :)

I like Lane Kiffin, and I think we needed some authority and kick these players into gear.I believe Kiffin's doing that and it will payoff eventually.Another thing why should we respect other teams, when they show no respect for us.For example, Florida 2 years ago, when Urban Meyer knew we were beat he still kept scoring and kept Tebow in as well.So for now all I can say is GIVE EM HELL LANE!

I wonder how long my reply comment will last on their site?

Do you dirty, cheating, Bammers obsess much? Your program is the filthiest in NCAA history. You have a lot of nerve to question any other school, or it’s hires.

I will give you credit. You seem to have kept Saban out of the strip clubs, and off the top of his secretary.

Alabama: Home of the Million Dollar Band, and the Seven Million Dollar team payroll.

Screw that bunch of delusional idiots.

:lolabove::lolabove:

glad you got that off your chest SOJ

best post of the year so far IMO
