I wouldn't be surprised to see the soccer team reject the Lady Vols moniker and logo. Pensky is a Hart hire and had started the elimination of the Lady Vol logo before it became the official AD policy. Hopefully his team will see the benefit off tradition and solidarity in this area.

This is true. If you read his statement (and why is he the only one quoted?), he sounds like he will not be supportive or encouraging the soccer team to choose Lady Vols. Of course there will be plenty of LVFL who have played under that logo and name who will be glad to encourage the team to choose the name. Did you read the player's statement? "I started as a Lady Vol and now I can graduate as one." It's only been 2 years, we still have a lot of athletes over there who WERE RECRUITED UNDER THAT NAME AND LOGO.
