SF offense was good in first quarter--but was stymied by the CM fumble and penalties. After that the KC defense smothered the Niners for most of the game. Samuel and Kittle were almost complete non-factors through the end of regulation. KC had better play-calling in the clutch--went to short passes and Mahomes started running a lot. Purdy is not very mobile and Shanny's play-calling was not as good in key spots. Really, Mahomes is not a good runner--but he does just enough to move the chains in key spots, which Purdy can't do. Missed extra point and the dump play by the Niner on the punt--should have just fallen on the ball--were huge.

Jauan is the epitome of a “blue-collar,” old-school football player. Doesn’t wow you with measurables but just goes out and works, fights, and makes plays. Rough as pig-iron and tough as nails. What an ambassador for Tennessee football. Only way I could be more proud of him is if he was my cousin lol.
