Nobody else is in the Top 100. But if you subscribe to the theory that only 3 or 4 teams from the SEC will get in, UT needs to do some significant leapfrogging.
I know last year we went 19-14/9-9, had the #45 RPI, and the #22 SOS; didn't get in... went to NIT where we got to beat UNF and tOSU again, before losing in the quarters to the GWU team that eventually won it all.
We had faltered down the stretch, too, losing 4 of our last 5 regular season games; most folks thought that by winning our last regular season game and then beating UAr in the SECT, we would make it... but nope, the committee wants teams playing their best ball in February; and I guess they figured those 4 late losses and the SECT loss were a better indication of where we stood than the last game win and SECT win.
