Remember when our DBs were playing well under Martinez? That was because Fair was coaching them up behind the scenes. Once he left for a DB Coach position at another school the group started tanking.

Fair is coaching DBs at CSU..but yeah other than being a VFL he wouldn't stand out

Coached well the last two seasons at Colorado State and was well regarded as a QC at Tennessee. He ran his mouth on the radio because his bosses kinda insisted. Strong and silent doesn't translate to ratings.

2014: 116.19 (27th nationally)
2015: 121.16 (46th; Fair's 1st season)
2016: 143.66 (107th)

FWIW, Tennessee's pass defense rating has ranked 24th, 16th & 34th respectively during the same time span.

Swain is too busy coaching up recruits for Clemson and proud of it, all while bashing the UT coaching staff on his radio show. I don't know why anyone would listen to his show. Stokes is just an ass, so glad to see Ainge back on the radio full time.
