This is why we're the best fanbase in the world! There's so many people that genuinely care about someone they've never met, and it makes me proud to be in unison with you all! God bless all of you, and I hope one day I can meet gramps

Sad to hear that Gramps you were always objective and quite the gentleman during some heated debates in this forum, and for that I thank you. Good luck to you sir. :hi: :good!:

And here I was worried about who our next OC will be and what players/recruits might not be sticking with us. News like this sure puts what's really important in life into perspective. My thoughts and prayers to you and your family Gramps. If you are up to it and feel so inclined you might consider making a little personal video for your loved ones.

Miss seeing your well thought out point of view on the Politics page of VolNation. I may not have agreed with a good bit of what you said but i always respected the way you stated your opinions.

Sorry to read this Gramps...I haven't visited the Politics forum in a while and now I wish I had so I could've maybe had your back in some of the arguments and discussions. Will be praying for your comfort and peace and that of your family as well. May God ease your pain and you just know that your place beside him is prepared.

Ok- I've been in touch with gramps via email.

Update as of today:
Gramps has seen three doctors. His primary care doctor really took the wind out of sails and gramps opted to see a specialist (and rightfully so imo)

Gramps opted to hold off on medical treatments until he had time to review his options. The specialist is confident that if the cancer has not spread that he can rid gramps of the cancer. Hopefully by the end of the week gramps and his doctors will have a game plan to get him back healthy and posting on volnation again.

I ask you all to continue praying for gramps and his family.


Also, gramps also thinks this thread shouldn't be a sticky. I disagree.

Thank you for this update. It's not the best of news in anyway, but it's far better than some of us had feared.
