Afterlife was Ok. A little better than I expected, but I don't think it deserves a sequel.

It was well received and they setup the sequel in the Afterlife post-credits scene. It's setting at a 3.4 out of 5 on Letterboxd and a 94% Audiance Score on Rotton Tomatoes.

Not to mention it made roughly $200 Million on an estimated $75 Million dollar budget.

Afterlife rebooted the franchise as "Firehouse" is just one Ghostbusters project in the works they are also looking at an animated feature film as well as a new animated series and a new video game.

Pretty sure that's what they were setting up for Winston (Ernie Hudson) in the end credits scenes.
