Federal investigators are examining whether former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn met with senior Turkish officials just weeks before President Donald Trump's inauguration about a potential quid pro quo in which Flynn would be paid to carry out directives from Ankara secretly while in the White House, according to multiple people familiar with the investigation.
Flynn was offered upwards of $15 million, to be paid directly or indirectly, if he could complete the deal, according to two sources familiar with the meeting.

What happened to Flynn happened to Monica Crowley. Last night on Fox she is spot on.

a network other than fox if you want to be taken seriously. It is not a serious network. It is state tv for Trump nowadays--but it's always been a joke, better known as the network that manipulates old people in rural middle America with a variety of nonsense and BS. It's a shallow mouthpiece for the GOP--started by a Koch Bros.-like billionaire. This is important: It uses propaganda to convince low-income folks that they should support policies that benefit the rich and Big Business--policies that go against their own economic interests. And, alas, they do by voting for Republicans. Republicans stiff working people in every way possible--and then lots of rural working people go out and vote for Republicans. One day you might recognize how you're being played.

What network is exactly?

Indictment of Flynn and maybe Jr. appears imminent. Regardless of potential Russian collusion, Trumps inner circle was devoid of even a semblance of ethics. Birds of a feather.

Draining the swamp? Hardly. Trump has only filled it higher.

"NBC News reported Sunday that federal investigators looking into Russia's intervention in the 2016 election and possible collusion between Moscow and the Trump campaign have gathered enough evidence to bring charges in the investigation into Flynn.

The grand jury is continuing to interview witnesses with knowledge of Flynn's business activities over the next week
, two people familiar with the deliberations said"

I don't see a plea deal in his future.

Earlier this year, House Democrats accused retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn of secretly lobbying for a huge Middle East nuclear power deal while serving as President Donald Trump’s national security adviser.
attempted to push a proposal for the nuclear power scheme ― linked to companies he had previously advised ― within days of taking office in Trump’s White House
Flynn received a memo from his former business associate Robert McFarlane, co-founder of the company IP3, about the plan, which envisioned a large consortium of countries, including the U.S. and Russia, building a fleet of nuclear reactors across the Middle East.

Flynn, who had served as an adviser to IP3 in 2016, reportedly told a staffer on the National Security Council to transform McFarlane’s memo into a policy directive for Trump to sign.

Flynn may be the worst in the bunch. He is corrupt from head to toe but was our National Security Adviser.

If we give all of them nuclear material at least we won't be lying the next time we claim they have WMDs.
