I've tried to drink & like buttermilk all my life...just can't....it's just plain nasty. My daddy would crush up cornbread & put in a glass of buttermilk & chug that down & wipe his mouth w/a smile.

Yeah it's foul. I've tried to soak chicken in it to make some buttermilk fried chicken..never works good. I DID soak beef liver in it and it made the liver edible oddly enough.

And chugging buttermilk..that's hard core. :good!:

I guess the only way for me to drink buttermilk would be to put a clothes pin on my nose to get it down. Once it's down, :sick: I don't know if I could keep it down. But I always wanted to drink it w/cornbread in it like dad did.
