Looks like fda advisory panel narrowly recommended Merck’s oral pill for covid today. Recommendation sounds very tepid.

Bet the fda ends up approving this drug only for those at the highest risk of death (elderly, immunocompromised). Hopefully the data behind Pfizer’s pill will be much better.

3 mos post China flu and still have no taste or smell.

Guy I work with got it last Thanksgiving and he and his mother lost taste and smell and he got his back about 3 months ago and his mother has yet to get hers back almost a year later...I was lucky I didn't lose either but everything tasted like a dirty sock for awhile...Not that I know what a dirty sock tastes like but just a thought lol
