If anyone is trying to silence the message of liberty and endorse being a member of the borg it's liberals. They apparently cannot survive on their own and need a collective. Nope. Very realistic. I understand your question since I have "independent" friends that are more liberal than many democrats.

Political parties are different sides of the same coin and have become corrupted with the thirst for power for powers sake.

Cruz is not a conservative. He just plays one during election season. He has flip flopped and then lied about every "conservative" position he has ever taken (exaggerating about the lying, I can only think of a couple he blatantly lied about).
