Patrick Brown is hands down the best UT football beat writer. I think it helps being in Chattanooga and not competing for the angle, but dang, his quotes and character stories are always spot on.

Brown is outstanding. Daniel Lewis gives him a run for his money imo.

Before I read an article anymore, I have learned to check who is writing it before I read and give it any merit. I agree, Patrick Brown is proving to be one of the more reliable ones.
