Again with the "unacceptable" line, but where are the consequences after each unacceptable performance? They never materialize.

He did at least say on his show last week that the responsibility starts with him, then his staff and then every player on the team.
Last admin would have just said 'we're just a bad team.'

"we have to be able to overachieve"
How about we start by just living up to potential? We have SOME talent, and simply do not convert that to execution on the field. It's a great cliche, but we aren't even flirting with overachievement.

He was absolutely spot on when he said we have to improve our team speed and that MO exposed us in our areas of weakness. Butch gets it...just needs time to get the players in.

Many of our players are overachieving just by being on an SEC team.

Time to play the future. Neal can ride the pine and save himself for the CFL. The O-line is a joke. Tiny and Bullard may as well leave early because the talent behind may very well supplant them otherwise. There's no need for Butch to play anymore seniors. F*** them. They haven't produced in the last 3 and a half yrs and probably won't produce in the next 3 games. Total joke talent brought in by Kiffy and Dools. Hopefully Butch's frosh can help secure a bowl berth.

This "unacceptable" speech reminds me of when Fulmer would always say after a loss,"We're gonna work like heck".

Too bad we don't have the type of caliber players we can bench our starters for...

Couldn't hurt to try a player or two with less years under Dooley's tutelage could it? Maybe don't answer that...

He acknowledged the lack of effort, but didn't address the lack of coaching. Talked a little about offense and winning the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball, but failed to acknowledge the lack of defense and poor tackling.

I think he's upset (and he should be), but this game's performance is first on the coaches, then on the players.
