Who had Brice Drew winning a NCAA tournament game before Vandy when he was fired? That guy was a successful coach before Vandy & after Vandy, just not at Vandy. Losing the Garland kid ruined their season that year & definitely changed his career.

Vandy has severe NIL issues. Not sure it’s a program I’d consider if I were a good coach today.

Nobody really wants to coach at Vanderbilt. It’s the hardest place to recruit in the conference and as long as Tennessee is doing well then you will get nothing but scraps. It’s one of the hardest jobs in the Power conferences.
