Assistan Coach Timetable?

Holly was the guard coach before she became HC correct? I would assume then that she has a very good idea of what she is looking for. I think she will make a good hire. She held that job for so many years she probably has an exact blueprint of what is needed.

Any good assistant will want to think about how long Warlick will be the Vol coach. Serious consideration, as if (and when) HW gets sacked, so does the staff.

On May 23, it was announced Nikki McCray-Penson left her USC assistant job for head coach at ODU.

On June 16, we discovered Law was leaving for the open assistant job at USC.

The USC hiring decision was made in less than a month.

What is the hold up?

If you have a good chemistry with the group you have why rush to hire someone who might not fit what you are trying to do. She is doing what she feel is best and taking her time to make the best decision for her and the program moving forward. This is an important decision for her and it is one that shouldn't be rushed for the simple fact if she get this hire wrong it could lead to pushing her closer toward being let go in a sense.

Not a home run hire but if she can light a fire in some players and teach Holly how to use her Time Outs, I'll be happy.
