There was an old saying back in the 70s that Bear Bryant could take his team and beat yours, then he could coach your team and beat his. I could see where that could apply to Saban.

Came in here to post this very thing - they always said Bear would beat you with his guys, then tomorrow he'd beat you with your guys. Same deal now, I suspect.

Halfway through the game, Jalen Hurts would deliberately nail jones on the side of the head with the football, rendering him out with a concussion. After he's carted off the field, the players from both sides would breathe a sigh of a relief.

Butch couldn't build a program like Saban has. No chance Bama would be good. If Saban coached UT we would be #1 and Bama would be looking to hire a new coach.
