I've gotta feeling whether we like it or not we are going to start hearing a lot about her in the political world. She's sure make news quickly....

Moments after arriving on Capitol Hill for freshman orientation, Rep.-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., went to the office of House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif.

It wasn’t to speak with Pelosi about her run for House speakership. But to join an impromptu sit-in outside of Pelosi’s office to push for congressional action on climate change.

“We need to tell her that we’ve got her back in showing and pursuing the most progressive energy agenda that this country has even seen,” Ocasio-Cortez said while standing in the middle of a group of around 200 protestors holding signs reading “Green Jobs For All.”

She is very appealing to the younger generation and thats not surprising. She is very dumb. Her inaccurate statements are just piling up. So basically the younger generation, the ones how know more about the Kardashians or Jersey Shore than US history, loves her because she is pandering to their lack of the ability to make coherent thoughts. She is using the Bernie Sanders model of failure.

She's the new face of the Democrat party. She will not be ostracized, more likely she'll be leading it before she's 40. There will not be any corrections from that hard left turn the party made recently.

Being a woman, latino, and full admitted socialist she is now the hero to the media and the modern day extreme left which is also the base. Very disturbing but at least they are now being honest with who they are

A pig somewhere just got its wings and is starting to fly. The National Review defends ocasio cortez

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez & Amazon -- New York Representative Is Right About Amazon's Corporate Welfare | National Review

I agree 100% with her on this. The incentives tied to the Amazon deal are worth over a billion between NY and VA.

An Uber successful company like amazon should get another foot up on the competition by lowering their operating costs at the expense of the taxpayer? While they drive up wages that will likely push smaller firms out of the market?

Hey. They needed those tax breaks so they could afford the $15 an hour minimum wage... so they could up the costs on their competition with their lobby to mandate it... so they could hurt their competition’s bottom line in the long run and drive them out .... so.... hmmmmmmm...🤔

Will it be a net gain or loss for NY? The numbers say huge net gain. So yea you make the concessions.

I've been sick of hearing about her for months now. She was finally right about something with the Amazon/corporate welfare comment.

Stop. A month ago it was Maxine Waters. You can parrot that FNC cliche talking point until you're blue in the face, at some point however you're going to have to reconcile that there's an establishment or there isn't, she very clearly isn't congruent with a Pelosi/Shumer establishment. IMO, she's going to feel the swift hand of Congressional career politicians pimp slapping her into her place.
