My kids go to an after school program at their school. It’s not cheap, but they enjoy it and it allows both me and my wife to work. ‍♂ My oldest isn’t 13 yet though.

Did you have a baby sitter when you were 13? I'd guess most 13 year olds with 2 working parents are unsupervised after school for the couple hours before mom or dad come home.

I had family at home. And I was being sarcastic. It’s kind of silly to be following the recruitment of children that just finished 8th grade. However, in the Lady Vols Forum they have a thread started on the 2027 recruits.

No and it was awesome. That's when I learned to smoke weed, drink alcohol, sneak girls over, well, now that I write it down, maybe it wasn't that awesome in the long run, except for sneaking the girls over and I do like weed

Hiwassee used to be a basketball powerhouse, in the 80s

My 8th grade coach took us to watch Hiwassee vs Roane St. in Harriman back in ’80 or ‘81. Hiwassee was nationally ranked, and I got to see Odell Mosteller who eventually ended up at Auburn.

I went to Hiwassee from 1984 to 1986 and we were indeed a basketball powerhouse back then.

Rudy Youell Gymnasium was rocking especially when we played Walters State.

I got some connections with info here. Very good player. But little surprised by this. Think it's an early offer to make sure and not be late to offer. I would be surprised if it's on offer that ever becomes fully committal. And come on BMaze.....exaggerating a bit much on that height. He is 6'8 to 6'9. Certainly not 6'11.

I’m not saying this is the case here and I also don’t know the kid. However,

I have seen offers get put out to a player early on, as a favor to some one, to help get a kids name out there. Kid might not be good enough for the school but it heightens his profile just a bit to where other lower level schools can notice him.
