The Steelers hate drafting edge rushers early on because of scheme transition issues, but they really need to upgrade their pass rush. It was better at the end of the season, but James Harrison won't be back with the team next year.

With the 88th pick in the 2015 VolNation NFL Mock Draft, the Detroit Lions select by proxy T.J. Yeldon, RB, Alabama.

Reggie Bush was released earlier in the offseason, so the Lions will need to find someone to split the load with Joique Bell. Detroit's front office typically likes picking the top player available, and Yeldon could fit that description.


The Carolina Panthers, mocked by Regulator, are on the clock.

Cowboys select Steve Nelson CB Oregon St.
The Cowboys will probably draft a corner or running back in the first 2 rounds now that they have Hardy.
Nelson is really solid though. I don't think he missed a tackle last year. Now you need 3-4 corners on the field, he'll do a great job in that role.

Enjoyed reading the thread again this year. Thanks for everyone who participated and thanks to Deus for organizing it. Much appreciated. Too bad it didn't quite finish, but it was close.

It would be cool if there was a way to declare a winner and award a prize of some sort.
