'18 GA QB Emory Jones (Ohio State commit)

Urban Meyer wanted him and had him committed for about a year. Saban wanted him, and to beat out FSU on signing day, Emory Jones is a HUGE get for Dan Mullen and Florida. With Mullen’s proven track record of developing QBs, arrow is pointing up for UF.

Get a room. :)

Until he loses to South Alabama or another dud team.

Lol maybe at MSU where the talent gap isn’t that big but now he’ll be able to land top 10 classes or close basically every year

Yet he still took a team with barely any top 250 recruits to #1 in the country

LOL. He lost to South Alabama in 2016. He had recruiting rankings of 16 (2015), 37 (2014), and 26 (2013) in the 3 years before that. Rivals rankings go to 100, and South Alabama wasn't even listed in those 3 years.

He didn't beat a team better than 8-5 the year that he got to #1.

Developing a QB is a strength of his. We will see if he can develop and recruit a whole team that will make you guys happy.

Those classes still probably didn’t have many four stars I figured they were ranked a lot higher then south bama

But that was week 1 when he was breaking in new qb after losing dak. They finished 6-7 not impressive I agree with that

He turned it around this year and had Fitzgerald looking pretty damn good if he didn’t get hurt in first quarter of egg bowl they go 9-3 most likely

We’ll see how miss st does without Mullen. History says they suck donkey balls

Rivals100 Update: Big movers

Sliders...

“Jones really had a rough week in Orlando. He struggled with his accuracy throughout the week and he just never found a rhythm as a passer. The conditions were far from ideal, but he just seemed off from day one for whatever reason. Jones is still a Rivals100 prospect and he still has a lot of tools for the Florida fans to be excited about, but his stock dropped some after his final high school performance.”

UF has been the the dumping grounds for QBs lately. Mullen in theory should change that but we will see

Tebow was their last quality QB. Every single one afterwards has been awful in a Gator uniform... Grier was good, but too early to peak

Yes, and amen
