n terms of Williams being physically able and now fully qualified to go for the Vols, it would be poor not to spotlight, again, the incredible work done by Dr. Joe Scogin, the head of Tennessee's Thornton Center. Most readers know Scogin had turned Missouri athletics into an APR powerhouse prior to Dave Hart finally prying him from the Tigers. Hart simply wouldn't take no for an answer when the first couple attempts to hire Scogin were rebuffed.
Scogin & staff worked tirelessly with Williams to help him with practice ACTs, countless study sessions and sometimes just moral support. It was an incredibly difficult process of waiting for Williams per those closest to him.
In the long wait for results, Scogin and Matt Hibbs were constantly diligent in reaching out to ACT officials, and anyone else for that matter, in terms of trying to learn Williams' fate and be ready to best help Williams.
