Lastly, Kyle Alexander seems to be exactly what was hoped for when he was signed, a ridiculously long player with a ton of upside. Like many foreign players with some soccer in their background, Alexander seems fairly agile for a guy with his length. The biggest obstacle between him and being a factor right now is simply getting stronger and adding some weight. In another program he might be a redshirt candidate, but with his size, it’s hard not to see him being needed in the paint next year, and if nothing else he should provide an upgrade on the defensive end from what Tennessee had to work with a year ago.
