I don't care what anyone says...Peyton Manning was/is simply the best! The best ever in my book. I have always been so impressed with the way he carries himself on and off the field. His physical skills are unquestionable and his leadership ability is remarkable. His dedication to the best sport on earth (in my opinion) is unbelievable. This man has represented himself and this university with such class. I know that may people feel the same way. Having watched "The Book of Manning" last night, I just felt the need to show my appreciation to one of the greatest ever. And before someone tries to be cute with the "but when he was at UT he mooned another player in the locker room with a female present!!! Get over it. (I'm sure she did)

He is also very well spoken and a great ambassador for UT's program. IMO he is the most entertaining player to watch in the league.

He will break Marino's passing yardage record at some point this season. Marino has over 61,361 yards. Manning has 60,635.

Next, he will go after Favre's passing yardage record or 71,848 and Favre's t.d. total of 508. Manning has 445 career t.d.'s.

He should catch both of those record in the 2015 season.

He is definitely a class act and will go down in history as one of the best NFL players at any position.

It's nice to have him in our corner!

Peyton has a pretty good sense of humor if you watch him closely. The first game of the season with him talking about the read option was pretty funny, especially when he was like I'll be out of a job if the read option because a go to offense along with my brother and oh the QB from New England lol. He then made another comment about New England Monday night, so you can tell there's some tension between Manning and the Pats.

Among his peers, coaches, and the pundits Peyton is acknowledged as the best QB of this generation. He has that rare combination of brains and talent, makes the people around him better. Plus he's humble and loves The University of Tennessee. :worship:

Agree! I'm 29 years old and have been watching Peyton from his first snap in college. For me I was 10 years old when he was a freshman. That was really when I started to develop and take in more of the game. I remember some of Heath and vaguely Andy but Peyton I remember it all from day one! Its been a blessing to follow and watch one player for two decades. IMO I think he is the ultimate professional athlete. He studies the game like no other, respects the game, respects the former players who paved the way before him, true leader, winner, class act on and off the field, says all the right things, etc.

I don't miss a game of his nor have I ever. Its like an art how he dissects defenses. The Manning's are first class. Archie & Olivia have done an outstanding job raising their boys. Peyton Manning is my favorite player cause of everything I stated and the first player I really remember the most out of all the others before him in my time. Glad he's a VFL! Go Vols!!!

I think he passes Favre...in everything. Circle the year 2015. Another Super Bowl and he goes down as the GOAT.

you brought it up

Naughright's attorney says his client, doing her job, was crouching behind Manning to determine why he was having pain in one of his feet when "entirely unprovoked, Peyton Manning decided to pull down his shorts and sit on Dr. Naughright's head and face." Court documents add graphic body-part details, which we shall omit because you certainly can get the picture.

During the Mon game, it said he had 448 TD's, & that was sometime during the game, so I think he has more like 450.
