If I'm searching through 50+ resumes and there's not a GPA on there, it's going in the shred pile, plain and simple. Easiest way to start trimming down the stack. However, if I'm met you and think you re competent, I might look past it.

If you get an opportunity to meet people from a company that you think you may want to work for, take advantage of it, especially if your academic program has something set up for students during the job search process. And make sure you try meet someone with some influence in the interview...
