Love Trey Smith at guard as a freshman, but I think his long-term ceiling is at tackle.

Something that I'm going to watch closely is how much of the Brohm/WKU offense (Tyson) Helton mixes into the USC/(Clay) Helton offense. I believe we will still have some spread concepts sprinkled in to take advantage of the recruits we've gotten the last few years.

Nice post backed up with specifics. I personally see the same concerns that you have, but I'm trying to be more optimistic. The fact is, no one knows, and I'd much rather have this player's coach type of guy than a guy like Schiano who players don't trust and is only trying to impress his bosses.

Forgot Kirby did that. Thanks for the insight. I've been kind of worried about the ramifications of waiting for a coach until after the bowl season. The only problem is that when Kirby did it, there wasn't an early signing period.
