Not nitpicky in the least IMO. It's a valid concern. I can easily see an untouched rush end, linebacker, or safety blind side him, and snap his frail frame like a hundred year old match stick. He needs to add like 20 pounds of muscle minimum before next season.

Really proud of and happy for him. This kids game compared to him as a freshman is light years apart. He ran wide on every play as a freshman to try and avoid contact, plus had issues fumbling, when he was barely hit. Now he runs over and drags defenders inside the tackles. HUGE IMPROVEMENT...

I don't disagree with your assessment that WM is a better recruiter than he is at teaching technique. That said, blaming him for poor safety play is complete BS. He has nothing to do with the safeties. That's on Banks and Banks alone.

What many of the Martinez critics fail to realize is he coaches the corners. Banks coaches the safeties, and their play has been far worse than the corners.
