Yeah, lower division level coaches like Bruce Pearl never work out. (This is not a knock at you, Barn, It was just a quick way to make a point. Personally, I like our odds when said coach has an incredibly high winning percentage, with multiple championships won.)

It has been a while since I experienced Bernard King, but it looked like he took over the game in a King-like fashion. Definitely very different styles, but a lot of the same results.

If Knecht keeps rising to the occasion like tonight, it is hard seeing us not getting deep into the tournaments. This is our best shot in a long time.

It's going to be a very different team next year, and Knecht is going to be missed SO MUCH (nah duh). How often do you have a player who can put the game away night in and night out? I think the young guys will do just fine, but they will have to find their way next year. I'm guessing the goal...

Well of course, but many of them get off-topic, and it can take hours to get a picture of what is going on. I just thought that this particular thread was the closest I could get to a one-stop-shop for recruiting info. Like I said, I guess that's why I stay in the bball forum most of the time...
