Jones is doing great. As for recruiting success, I think the key difference is that it is a decent year for Tennessee recruits. Hopefully, he can sell PT and get some of the studs out of Ga, and of course hold onto the recruits UT has.

recruiting is about relationships. Yearby was recruited by James Coley to FSU. James Coley left for Miami, Yearby switches to Miami. That's the same way FSU got Demarcus Walker from Bama when FSU hired Jeremy Pruitt.

FSU took a long time to announce the hiring of the other new coaches, even after the coaches were seen in FSU gear around the football facilities. I wouldn't read into it too much.
