Grillin, chillin, and knocking down a few Abita's, then watching the game with my son (we both attended UT) and calling my daughter (NCST Student) to give her some grief after the blowout (let's all pray that it doesn't go the other way).
I am more optimistic this year than I have been for the past 4 or 5. Kiffen exceeded my expectations and had he stayed I would have been pumped for his second season. (I am not unhappy that he left, however). I knew when Dooley got here that it would be a couple years before we could expect...
I hope you are right about 10 wins, but I tend to think it is more realistic to think 8 is the benchmark. Dooley wins 8, I think he will be back. 7 or less and the plug gets pulled
I voted not, but I have to admit that sometime Saturday afternoon as I was stuck in traffic on I-40 east of Knoxville AND enduring the game on radio, it crossed my mind.
I agree CDD is doing a good job at recruiting and I agree he had a mountain to climb.
Hopefully we are already at rock bottom and things won't get worse. But the game Saturday was no less than humiliating.
I just hope we aren't in the cycle Alabama went through before they hired...
Dooley deserves one more year. I don't think there is any way to gauge him on a two year run with what he inherited.
As much as I even hate to think it.....I am afraid this is Vanderbilt's year.
