LA, I hope you don’t step away — disregarding my joking response earlier, I can honestly say that there’s no other person on here that I get excited about when I see they’ve posted something new. Ok, maybe ChattaTNVol, but just the two of you.
LA, I love you, but you’re bringing me down. Do you have to bring cold hard reality ino this? I’m really hoping once Caldwell is on campus you can come back on here with some good vibes 😎
As a LV season ticket holder from 1993-2021, I have strong feelings about the type of person we should look for as a LV basketball coach. With Holly, it was always a given she would take over for Pat, even if we were pretty sure she wasn't the best option. I wasn't excited when Kellie was hired...
Respect doesn’t have to go both ways, and as UTProf said, I think there was a lot about Mulkey that Pat felt was the opposite of what she had helped build in WBB.
As someone who went to LV games for almost 20 years, there were only a few opposing coaches it was obvious Pat did not like. Mulkey was by far the coach she disliked the most.
Not only did the workers not know it was the radium that was making them sick, the company had doctors telling them it definitely wasn’t. It took years for it to all come out, only after several deaths.
First (and only) time I tried to dip was a Skoal Bandit during the 5th grade school play. Ended up throwing up in a urinal at Bearden Elementary School. Not a great experience 🤮
I have seen multiple mentions of players saying they thought the game was in the bag at halftime, or something to that extent. I haven’t seen any actual names, however, and it seems like a really surprising and damning thing for someone to admit. Can anybody point me somewhere that will corroborate?
Just as an aside, the UT student who created “Spooky Rocky Top” is the brother of the boy who was killed on Kingston Pike at the beginning of the semester. Both are sons of the coach of the UT swim team.
