I'm a butch backer and hope things work out BUT IF....Butch and Chip are fired after year three at there new job I will be ecstatic if we hired Chip in 2016. One way or the other, things MUST get better around here. Really can not get much worse. Go Vols!
Your brain came up with that all by itself? Pretty small dude.

PLEASE FANS, GIVE jONES A CHANCE TO COACH THE TEAM BEFORE WE FILL OUT HIS REPORT CARD AND FIRE HIM. hOW WOULD YOU LIKE IT IF YOUR KIDS TEACHERS FILLED OUT YOUR CHILDS REPORT CARDS BEFORE THEY EVEN STARTED CLASS.

I hate to admit it, because maybe some of you have respected me to this point...

...But I actually had the same thought. I laughed when I logged in and saw this as the hottest thread. I support CBJ 100%, I think he is doing a good job thus far, and I think he will return us to relevance, but I still do not think he will bring us to national championship contention, and it is human nature to think of "What if?'s," especially from a realistic approach.

My Vol brethren, you are an impatient lot. Not all of you, but several of you. The Vols and the Eagles are very similar; both prestigious teams in a rut, picking up a new HC and hoping to be back in "The Game." Some of the best fan bases, but tired of the same ole' crap every season, getting beat by the same rivals, and rationalizing with themselves after every tragic short-coming. Three years, CBJ and CCK could be suffering from their third straight 'mediocre' season, and it would be very possible for CBJ to get the boot, and CCK to come striding in on his horse (or in this case, multi-million dollar jet) and take over an offense he's already familiar with, and return to a league that he has already proven himself in.

Tennessee's got the money. Nevertheless, hope for the best. I am all-in to the thought of us being National Champs in four years, with the start of a future legacy of Derrick Green, Vonn Bell, Marquez North, Carl Lawson, Reeves-Mabin, RF, and all of our other commits that want to stay true to the BEST DAMN PROGRAM IN THE NATION... with the "unworthy" and "unproven" and "third choice" bUTch JONES at the
helm.

But it's just amusing to think outside of the box, sometimes.

Is chip Kelly running off to the NFL Pete Carrol style?? If so and Oregon has to deal with issues then Kelly may need to stay in the nfl for a while.

Nonetheless our chances in Eugene just went up and that's a good thing. I'm a Dooley supporter but I swear that guy had the worst timing ever. If Dooley were still here he would have never lucked out with Kelly leaving.

My dream is a coach that retires here, not an itinerant carpetbagger. Go Butch!

If you happen to grow a johnson in the next 3 years maybe you won't have to sit to piss.

If I swallow the dimes in my ashtray maybe I'll crap a silver log.

I'm all for positive thinking, but what you're doing is worthless. It's like taking a dump, sprinkling it with cheese and sour cream and calling it a chilli pie. I'd actually choose to eat that over reading any more of your hypothetical moments of brilliance that you think we actually give two ****s about. Go back to watching porn in your mom's basement. That is all.

Sadly, at 2am I succumbed to the boredom at work and read this thread.
It amazes me that people who "support" CBJ are ecstatic over the thought or possibility of him failing so miserably that he would be fired after just three years and we would hire our 5th coach in just under ten years. And then to fantasize about a replacement that has flirted with leaving his school the last few years and dangling the carrot in front of recruits noses while sitting in their living room only to walk out on the university two days later and less then a month before NSD (sound familiar). The same guy that had brought in top recruiting classes but is .500 the last 4 bowl games and finds a way to choke in the PAC12 and fall short of the big game except once when they lost to an SEC team.
Nice fantasy.

Tennessee is in a bad financial mess and we badly need a new dorm for our footVol players ASAP.

Given this and other situations at UT I pretty much guarantee that bUTch will be our coach for at least 4 years no matter what since big boosters are really tired of buyouts and understand the desperate NEED for a new player dorm building that they're going to get asked to donate lots of money too.

To say this thread is dumb would be a serious understatement especially at this time.

I think we're going to bUTch slap some teams in the next few years that will be totally unexpected at the time and then hopefully silly talk like this will vanish.

VFL...GBO!!!

I cannot believe that someone, else other than me, let this cross their mind last night!

I promise I am not a troll.

Geeez, Lets support the coach and staff we currently have and put this to rest for a while.:stop::flush:

You know how it is with crybabies. If they got no reason to cry, they'll invent a reason or pretend one exists.

Personal foul on OP with the reach, shooting two.
Reach(ing) is not and has never been a foul. If you cannot "reach" you cannot play basketball. Basketball announcers constantly describe "reaching fouls". They do not exist. It is holding, hacking, chopping, grabbing, pushing etc. but reaching has and never will be a foul.

Sorry, 12 years of high school basketball refereeing bubbling up.

I would call this thread just wtmtohh.

Way too much time on his hands.
