Trump should probably stop helping themPretty much common sense Rush Limbaugh: Dems Plan to 'Wreck the Economy and Get Rid of Trump'
San Fran County has less than 2,000 cases last I saw but, regardless of that fact, entire states shouldn't be held captive due to a large city in the state having a "high" number of cases. Then you have states like NV with a whopping 6K cases. Why can't they open up? Again, this isn't an economy vs lives discussion, it is lives vs lives. I think you get that but some don't.
So you are saying it wasn’t a good idea to jam Covid patients in with the elderly folks in the nursing homes??The NYC outbreak is not on Cuomo, or de Blasio.
But if you are looking for a smoking gun from a politician that absolutely caused deaths, look no further than Cuomo's retarded nursing home mandate and complete refusal to close public transportation.
Honestly, I don’t know what to believe. My gut tells me that there won’t be some massive wave of infections because I think it was here long before we started social distancing and shutting down. The problem is that we just don’t know. Those antibodies tests sure seem to support that theory but the media doesn’t seem to give them much thought and the same is true of our leaders.I agree with you. Outside big cities, smaller counties should be allowed to open. I am worried, though, about a big rebound of the virus.

But if all these people had it and never knew then does it matter how fast it spreads?I think that’s a lot of the idea behind the hammer and the dance though. We applied the hammer and it’s done it’s job. In a lot of America active cases are very low. That means it isn’t just going to blow up overnight in those places (assuming things like warmer weather haven’t inhibited it’s ability to do that in the summer anyway). You should be able to open up and then monitor cases carefully. If you have a small outbreak, isolate those cases ASAP and monitor harder. That’s the game if you want to control it (and not just let her rip).
That’s why the timing of opening up is important though. If you still have a lot of active cases then there is a decent chance it grows very rapidly (again assuming warm weather doesn’t slow it down).
I don’t think the antibody tests alone tell you a lot about the case progression unfortunately. They give you an integral which is value - but don’t tell you much about the shape of the curve, which is what you need to know to effectively address the question of how fast does this take off if we fully open up at x number of cases in a city of y many people.
Yeah, that will sure fix the economy. You people who wish ill-will on New York and California kill me. There is no difference between this stupid post, and a liberal cheering on the 14.7% unemployment rate. Conservatives like to think there is a difference and you are more mature, but it's the same politically divisive, red state vs blue state bull crap.Let them stay on lock down forever they deserve it
Their Governors are the one's doing it. We have no control over their states.Yeah, that will sure fix the economy. You people who wish ill-will on New York and California kill me. Semantics. The POTUS is a moron - it's that simple. And you look foolish and desperate trying to defend his comment.
They voted to be run by left wing anti American socialists so screw them, they deserve what pain comes their wayYeah, that will sure fix the economy. That you made a nonsense post for cheap likes and now can't back it up.
I was just checking to see if anyone had posted this. This decision could turn out to be huge. I applaud them for their taking such a stance. I think there are some real constitutional issues here. I'm pleasantly surprised that a state court did this. I figured this sort of thing would have more luck in federal court.

I love this decision and it's time that someone sticks up for our constitutional rights
