I am an anarchist - ask me anything.

Some anarchists think that everyone ought to receive everything regardless of whether or not they work. Others (like myself), think that those who are able to but do not work are not participating in and contributing to the community and thus have no right to the community's resources. What constitutes work is very flexible, though. Different people have different capabilities.

Then you should leave UT and go enroll at Candy. You don't work or contribute yet so you shouldn't have access to a state school. Kind of inconvenient living by rules you don't really believe.

Not really. Anarchism is inherently anti-state, socialism is the exact opposite. Most anarchists I know these days are pro-capitalists and certainly not on the left of the political spectrum.

Historically, anarchists are leftists. Further, socialism is not statist. That is just an ignorant view of what socialism actually means. The popular anarchist position is described here.

Well, until anarcho-capitalism came along, at least. Many argue that anarcho-capitalism isn't anarchist. I'm not so sure myself, because I've not studied it. This is actually a pretty good question though, so I'd like to refer you to this.

1) chaos.
2) complete lack of government allowing total freedom of the individual.

People that say an-cap isn't anarchy are playing semantic games. Anarchy is the free market, bro. Hate to break it to you.

With that, I will leave you to the one person I know that can teach anyone about anarchy and go to bed.

No, they continually exploited others for their labor. It may have been difficult to build up that business, but ultimately, the vast majority of the labor was done by those at the bottom.

I had to stop reading right here to say a big F U!!! I'm a small business owner who works 60 hours a week performing manual labor with only one partner. No body but me built my f-ing company. Do you have any idea how many small businesses there are in America?

Frankly, my problem isn't really with small business owners.

Capitalism is inherently hierarchical. I have trouble seeing how it could fit an anarchist worldview.

I think you were going to come on this conservative circle jerk and school us. I think you best go do your homework so when you are doing menial IT for your boss you will be able to perform satisfactorily.
