The All Things Cycling Thread

Fixed.

How does one train for that?

Lots of saddle time. I might be able to do it in 17-18 hours.

I think I would have it with gravel after about five miles.

Great scenery, though.

I don't think you could ride 2700 miles and get as much awesome scenery anywhere else in the world. It's not all gravel, a decent portion is just straight dirt.

Doing a 25 mile time trial in a week and a half. It's for the Sparta Games (a BDE level competition)

I need to ride my mountain bike more. I jumped up to cat 2 for today's race and finished 38/50. Not very good and I can barely walk right now. Was only the third time on dirt all year.

Every time I want to ride it's significantly colder than the last few days. This weekend was cloudy and cool.

30 tonight. Felt strong. Kept dropping my friends on accident and waiting for them. Should have been a solo ride. I will not set any mileage goals this month. Felt like I was riding through a swimming pool. 100 miles planned on Saturday.

Action photos from Saturday.

10.5 to the college this morning to enroll, 5 tonight to the grocery store. 59 organized tomorrow, 10-wish there, 10-wish home. Finding another 25 somewhere during the day to make it 100.
