Nancy do you still think Holly Warlick isn’t a coach?! Seems to me she has proven herself worthy of the position. Everyone has to do what’s right for them and Holly felt it was more important to her future as a head coach to stay a assistant coach to the best and learn all she could. She wasn’t given the team. She earned and has proven such since taking over. This year alone she is 21-3 over all and 11-0 this 2014-2015 this season.

Head coach is more than just a title, Michele… It is a job. Team, staff, recruiting, and most importantly, maintaining the dynasty she inherited. Not earned!.. Inherited.

Holly is the worst coach ever that I know of. I said it that Nikki is wayyy better than Holly. I can not imagine a coach who replaced a legend under 3 years Holly have destroy every thing given to her including the legacy.. If a coach can not win with 7 all Americans, I have no idea with she can win with. Look at Kentucky women ranked 12 with only 7 players in their team, tell me how many all Americans in their team? a team that lost 4 players in the beginning of the season and yet they’re still fighting hard with the help of their great coach. Hart is stupid enough to keep Holly up till now. We are going to demonstrate to get Holly fired as well as Hart because he is never interested in women sports.

First of all, Holly never prove anything as being a great coach or she has proven her self. She was left with a great players. The first year, she maintained the SEC winning because of the team she had. Second season she started to decline which states that she can’t coach. A great coach supposed to be going up not down. Shame of Holly and Hart..

you don’t have to play a sport to coach it. Holly isn’t a good coach–forget great she’ll never make great. How many NC’s or SEC’s has SHE personally, with those she recruited, has she won?
Tenn has been the gold standard until pat got ill. Now it’s lucky to be copper.
Holly is a great coach for anyone who likes the bottom of the top 25 if you want top 3, find another coach.. The Vols and Pat;s memory deserves better.

Correct. To lose 12 and 14 games 2-consecutive seasons is absolutely mind-numbing. Holly is like poor Butch Jones. Try your best but just doesn’t have what it takes to win. I say throw a bunch of money at Dawn Staley and see what happens.

It was handed to the right coach, a coach with lots of class and coaching skills thats what LADY VOL stand for , she will get the lady vols there, you will see, when I watch other coaches I understand why she was handed the job be cause the lady vols don’t fear teams , they get everybody best shot along with all the bad calls against them watch games more you will see, or would you perfer a coach that act a fool and beg for calls, lady vols play so sound that they get calls that not there , watch games and replays, for insist the south carolina game.

I defended holly before, but not anymore , Holly should be replaced , the lady vols can still make it to championship game.the team is their, the coach is the problem, I am a true lady vols fan, fans don’t blame players, players are coaches problems, I dont know about anyone else , holly should be fired yes , you have to score in the 80’s, the lady vols , are below 60’s, tempo is too slow, that causes turn-overs, up tempo win game, you will have turnovers but you get more shots in return.with the right coach even one of the assistance coaches, the lady vols can make some noise in march, this year.

I see two problems, one we do not have a leader on this team. We need someone on the floor to take control of this team when they are getting out of control, which is often, and gets them on the same page. The other is they do not play together as a team, especially when DeShields is on the floor. They are watching her to see what she is going to do. Russell has to become more aggressive. No excuse for anyone to take the ball out of her hands. It’s past time for Holly to use some old Summit tactics. Lock them out of their luxury locker room, take away cell phones, ipads, get them off social media, etc. until they decide to get focused and want to play together as a TEAM!

It’s hard to have a leader on the floor, when you sub every minute or two.DD is the best player in the sec, I know, my roommate , think I am crazy for sayiny that.if holly leave her in the game, yes she turn it over, leave her in the game, she loveplaying bb , you cann’t learn on the bench, fouling out will teach her, because she love playing. ,my heart hurt right now, I love the lady vols just that much.But I pray Holly realize at this point, With DD and BGraves, carter, jordan, russell, and nared, moore and a up tempo offense can win a champion this year.they will have turnovers but they play defense better then anyother team.I still believe this team is a top 4 team but only with DD I watch her play against tenn with NC .She is the real deal.I have never bad mouth Holly before but she sure be ashame of herself, this team is the best since parker and teammate, maybe better.

Holly will be great for my girls , yes my girls I feel that players have to play like a lady vol I was mad last season too but not at holly but at the team because they didnt play with heart. I have watch pat put two freshmen in a game those two player took it to uconn those player was ely and butt so get offf holly its the players yes russell should have played more but thats ok too holly is learning too I am always goin to be with pat. Choice on holly.

I am sorry but playing with heart is in great part upon the coaching staff. Holly cannot run or hide from this fact. Have you ever seen Holly pull a player aside and get in their face when they screw up? Most times she just stands on the sidelines with her hands folded. She still thinks Massingale is a leader. A leader of errors and mistakes. When Massingale was hurt last year Carter took over and played almost errorless ball. I am no sure how you spell her name but Middelton played errorless ball against Penn. We need to face facts that the Lady Vols will be a better team with Massingale ridding the bench. Look at the 2015 recruiting. Yes we have two of the top guards in the country but why does one of the greatest Lady basketball schools have problems filling the last two available scholarships? Does Holly wow you when she is being interviewed? She seems so uncomfortable. Is that the attitude she projects to recruits. There are post players who ar 6’4″ and above in the 2015 class, why isn’t one of them a Lady Vol? Don’t be blinded by history, we have potential issues that must be dealt with this year. If the Lady Vols fail to reach the final 8, and I am being nice, we need to consider if Holly is the right coach.

Middleton may have played one game flawless (I must have miss that game) but she is not flawless. She makes too many turnovers and takes shots for the 3 without her team being set. I think she may make a good player but she has to be patience and learn from her fellow players. Personally I’ll take Massingale over Middleton.

The Lady Vols (current and past) have earned a right to maintain their tradition and keep their symbol! Dave Hart may not understand such an honorable tradition as the Lady Vols! He has dismantled so much of what has been built to honor our athletes! I think every UT fan in the country and abroad should ask the administration to reconsider and NOT remove the Lady Vol emblem from any women’s sport at the University of Tennessee! REINSTATE THE LADY VOLS IN ALL WOMEN’S SPORTS AT UT!!

I am not a Holly hater, but not every good assistant coach is a great head coach. How many great women college basketball programs have we seen that showed early signs of headed in the wrong direction but failed because the signs were ignored? Remember La Tech, Stephen F. Austin, Texas University, Texas Tech, Old Dominion, USC, and possibly the University of Oklahoma? Top men programs are not allowed to go out of existence. The next two years the Lady Vols have great players at their disposal, if Holly can not make the final four within the next two years, we have to ask ourselves if she is the right coach for the Lady Vols.

After the south carolina game against k-cats I really felt proud to have a coach like holly , Dawn S. beat team some by more than 50 points and act a fool because a coach call a time-out , keep it real people and everybody makeup excuses for her if you beat teams by 50 or more points thats rubbing it in, dont get mad when you get your but whip, and a coach call a time out if there is one that can be call. Thats what I like about holly class that’s why Pat picked her class go along way and even today nobody want to play the lady vols why you think baylor bail out , keep it real fan’s

lady vols will be alright if no injuries,but when is last time that’s happened? if Russell goes down,nobody to take her place. geno only coach who has enough good players that he can loose one or two and still win. until holly upgrades her recruiting,she can’t compete with notre dame,maryland,south Carolina,let alone gena. if you don’t believe,just wait and see. holly is lucky Deshields fell in her lap or she’d been screwed this coming year.

Being nice does not make you a great coach, it does not get you to the final 4, it just mean you are nice. Holly has a lot of class but will that get us to a final 4? As I said before, I do not hate Holly but we are a class program that need to be a final 4 power. If Holly cannot get there next season, baring injuries, I believe that a decision has to be made if she is who we need to challenge the top four teams for the championship.

I must admit, I was wrong Holly,will not get Holly cannot take the lady vol to a championship. Sunday, told the whole story, I have defend her for the last time.I think , i am a down to the bone Lady Vol Fan.Her boss , knows this by now, if they do there job the lady vol can still make something special happen without Holly , its not going to happen with her.she remind me of Mark Richt.I love Holly to death but I love The Lady Vols more!,,,

As a long time fan of Tennessee Sports, I have been very disappointed with the Lady Vols efforts this year. For all of us fans, walking on that court should be an honor, and if you cannot get excited to be there, please get out of the way. They are making too many errors, Cooper & several others cannot hit a 3 point shot at all, and this will end up hurting the team’s chances to do much in the national rankings. Beast shows up every once in a while, and the rest come & go without ever being consistent. What happened to the pride of playing in front of the number one fans in the USA?

A coach that cries, she is way over her head. I always wonder why she never left to coach somewhere else. My main concern is she can not recruit. Hart should have got a proven coach. Just like Bill Battle

The Lady Vols are a poorly coached team. Their guards dribble the ball too much , the player stand around and wait till the clock runs down and play one on one ball. There is no movement and no ball reversal. That is on the coach.

if you don’t have at least three shooters who can shoot the 3’s,you’re screwed. look at all the earlier lower tier teams we played early in season. reason they played us close was they had 3 point shooters everywhere. we recruit athelets but can’t shoot,except one,and she almost never gets to play. holly says because of her defense. I have seen the others,they’re not any better that I’ve seen. girls getting beat off the dribble time and time again.some say our defense is good,i say when our defense looks good is other team is not on same level. plenty of 3 point shooters out there,just not popular to some.

ladies basketball coach in B’ham , Alabama. Over my 26 plus years of
coaching ; I attended and worked basketball camps at Duke (Coach K),
Lipscomb (Coach Meyer), Kentucky (Coach Pitino), and Indiana (Coach
Knight). I attended Tennessee COACH PAT HEAD SUMMITT — ALL THESE
COACHES ARE AND WERE INTENSE, ENERGETIC, ENTHUSIASTIC,AND
PASSIONATE!!!!!! I don’t criticize coaches; but, the ones who show fire and
spunk on the bench and practice floor get the most out of their players. There
will never be another coach and teacher like PAT — she knew when, why,
and how to push each of her teams buttons. I know each person has their
own personality. I played high school basketball 1961-1965;and U.S. Army ball after Igot back from Vietnam in 1969. I played harder for coaches who lit a fire under my butt. THANKS PAT; AND GOD BLESS YOU AND TYLER AND ALL THE
HEAD FAMILY! 2004 camp was GREAT! -
Holly has to go or the Lady Vols will never have a championship team again. They have quality players and any good coach could make a championship team with them. Holly may have been a good assistant coach but head coach she is not. Maybe they are trying to kill the women basketball program, it sure looks like it.

After turning off the Mississippi State game midway through the 4th, I concluded the best move Holly could do would be to pick any Tennessee fan from the stands to coach the rest of the game, and then head to the locker room. Holly does not know how to manage a game. She needed to be fired after her first season!!! You can see the despair in the player’s faces.
