KNOXVILLE, Tenn. \u2013 <\/strong>Nineteen Vols across the country are heating up both in the box and on the mound as they continue through the summer campaign, as regular season games start to dwindle and it gets into crunch time.

Appalachian League<\/u><\/strong>
OF Kyle Booker<\/a> \u2013 Kingsport Axmen
Season Stats: 13 GP, .326 AVG, 14 R, 14 H, 1 HR, 10 RBI, 9 BB, 3 SB, .442 OBP, .435 SLG

Had three hits, three runs scored and a pair of stolen bases in the last four days.

Season Stats: 17 GP, .173 AVG, 10 R, 9 H, 1 HR, 4 RBI, 14 BB, 1 SB, .397 OBP, .250 SLG

Scored a pair of runs over the weekend against Bluefield.

Been an everyday player for the Packers, seeing time both as the DH and the left fielder.

Had a massive week, going 6-for-13 with a home run, coming on July 9, and seven RBIs. Broke out against Walnut Creek on July 8, posting a 4-for-5 day with four driven in. Also added three stolen bases against the Lincoln Potters in his most recent game, played on Sunday.

Ranks third on the team in average, fourth in slugging and fifth in on-base percentage.

Put together another very strong start Saturday (7\/9) at Santa Barbara, throwing eight innings, allowing just two earned runs and eight hits while striking out four, even though he took the loss.

Logged two multi-hit games in the last week, starting with a 2-for-5 game against the Cal Bees where he drove in three, doubled, scored a run and stole a base. Rounded out the week with a 3-for-6 game at Solano (7\/12) where he doubled, scored two runs and drive in a pair in a 16-3 victory.

Season Stats: 25 GP, .262 AVG, 12 R, 22 H, 5 2B, 13 RBI, 5 BB, 3 SB, .458 OBP, .400 SLG

Collected a base hit and a stolen base in each of his last two games and added an RBI against the Big Foots on Tuesday, July 12.

UTL Logan Chambers<\/a> \u2013 Martha’s Vineyard Sharks

Has a hit in his last seven ballgames, accounting for nine knocks, with the last six coming on consecutive calendar days. Also displayed excellent plate discipline, drawing seven walks in that span. Posted a three-hit night against Bristol on July 8 while scoring a run and driving in a man.
