Butch Jones hinted on Monday morning that he may be close to naming a starting quarterback.<\/p>\n

“We are getting closer to naming a starting quarterback,” Jones said. “I’m going to go back and watch the film this morning, a little bit tonight, but I expect if things go the way they’ve been going we will \u00a0name a starting quarterback at some point this week.”<\/p>\n

“But again, I’m not going to set any timeframes. If it happens it happens. There are no deadlines. We have time. I think we are getting closer to a decision in regards to our quarterback position.”<\/p>\n
