Lady Vols In The WNBA Update (Aug. 11)

With just over a month to go in the 2025 WNBA regular season, three Lady Vol alums are trying to help their teams earn postseason berths.

Forward Isabelle Harrison (2011-15), in her first year in New York, has helped the Liberty to a 20-11 record. That mark is good for first in the Eastern Conference and ranks as the second-best of any team in the league, ranking behind only Minnesota (27-5).

Forward Rickea Jackson (2022-24) and guard/forward Rae Burrell (2018-22) have had expanded roles as the Los Angeles Sparks improved to a 15-16 record, including a 7-2 mark since the all-star break. LA sits in sixth place in the Western Conference and is positioned at ninth overall in the WNBA, just one spot out of playoff contention.

Guard Jordan Horston (2019-23) is on injured reserve for the season with Seattle, while center Mercedes Russell (2013-18) was released by Los Angeles since the last Lady Vols in the WNBA Update was shared.
