Lady Vols 64 – Auburn 61 (highlights)

In its first game of the 2018 SEC Tournament, Tennessee escaped with a 64-61 victory over the Auburn Tigers on Thursday night in Nashville, thanks to Rennia Davis’ game-winning 3-pointer with .5 seconds remaining on the clock.

Tennessee (24-6) was led in scoring by Jaime Nared, who finished with 17 points, four assists and three steals. Rennia Davis scored 16 points and grabbed five rebounds, including the game-winning 3-pointer she banked in from the top of the key.

Mercedes Russell tallied another double-double. She scored 12 points, including a perfect 10-for-10 from the line, and grabbed 15 boards.

Tennessee next plays South Carolina at 7 p.m. ET on Friday.
