Tennessee lands its third commitment of the weekend

Class of 2018 wide receiver Jatavious Harris committed to Tennessee on Sunday, becoming the Vols’ third commitment of the weekend.

“Without further ado, after many prayers and conversations and etc. with my family, I have decided to commit to the University of Tennessee!!,” Harris wrote.

Harris, who becomes Tennessee’s seventh pledge in the class of 2018, weighs in at 6-foot-2, 182 pounds and is rated three stars by both 247Sports and Rivals. He chose Tennessee over Florida, Miami, South Carolina, Michigan State and Pittsburgh.

Although originally offered by the Vols in December, this weekend was Harris’ first visit to Knoxville.

Quarterback Michael Penix and athlete Cameron Wynn committed to Tennessee yesterday.
