In his Monday afternoon press conference, Tennessee head coach Butch Jones confirmed the rumors that the injuries to Von Pearson and Ethan Wolf aren’t serious and neither is expected to miss a serious amount of time. In fact, it’s possible that Wolf could play this weekend.
“Ethan Wolf, right now he is questionable. I think we have received right now, great news on both him and Von Pearson. Ethan Wolf had a bruised knee, so it will be how his body recovers with the rehab, I will know more a little bit later in the week his status for the game this week. Von Pearson will be out this game, we will see how his body progresses. Right now it is a high ankle sprain. So again, spoke with both these individuals today. Just left Von, he is in great spirits, the great thing is we anticipate getting him back very soon because as you know he adds a whole other dynamic to our offense but also his competitive nature, our kids feed off of.”
